Adventure Trip

The five-day adventure trip brings together your leadership and outdoor skills at the end of your BCP semester.

As a fall semester student, you spend 5 days in October hiking the Bruce Trail in the stunningly beautiful Bruce Peninsula National Park. This is a perfect location to see the wonderful connections between Southern Ontario and the Bruce, as this spectacular trail binds us together. Using map, compass & GPS skills, you will take responsibility for the groups’ progress along the trail until we make it to our final destination.  The BCP group plans, packs and cooks healthy & nutritious trip meals.

As a spring semester student, you spend 5 days in June canoeing through the beautiful lakes of Algonquin Park.  Using map, compass & GPS skills, you guide the group through the canoe trip route on your leadership day.  You bring together your outdoor skills by setting up the campsite each evening, cooking dinner on a gas stove or campfire, and setting up tents for sleeping.
